Funding

We serve our community by fundraising, providing active service, advocating, collecting goods and supplies, and much more! We financially support many deserving organizations and causes through various fundraising campaigns and events. Among the most recent are:

Our most extensive fundraising and community outreach events of the year include the Holiday Market, Boots, Brews, & BBQ, and Golf Tournament. We are grateful to our yearly sponsors and many faithful donors who support League events and our important work in this community.

Each League year, JSL issues funding grants to area non-profits. Requests for these one-time grants will be accepted from non-profit 501(c)3 organizations in Orangeburg Calhoun, and Bamberg counties. The process begins as our Grant Committee releases an official grant application for the upcoming League year. The Committee carefully reviews all applications and awards recipients of these funds. The Committee’s decisions are based on current needs and the availability of funds. Announcements regarding the next grant application/deadline will be made here, on social media, and in local newspapers.
